II. 牛熊證收回機制

牛熊證設強制性收回機制,若相關資產價格觸及上市文件內指定的價格(即「收回價」),發行商可在牛熊證到期日前,即時收回有關牛熊證。即表示該牛熊證將提早到期並即時終止在市場上買賣,原定的到期日失效。投資者將會即時損失大部分、甚至所有資金。

牛熊證分為N類和R類,目前香港市場只有R類牛熊證。

N類牛熊證

收回價等同行使價,若相關資產的價格觸及或超越收回價,投資者將不會收回任何現金。

R類牛熊證

收回價與行使價不同,牛證的收回價必定高於行使價,而熊證的收回價則必定低於行使價,故R類牛熊證被強制收回時,投資者仍可收回牛熊證觀察期內相關資產的最低/高價格與行使價的差距價值,俗稱「剩餘價值」。

牛熊證的結算方法

到期牛熊證

如牛熊證到期前並無被收回,便會於到期前一個交易日作最後交易日。

正股牛熊證:結算價為到期日前一日的正式收市價
指數牛熊證:結算定於該牛熊證到期日的所屬月份的期指結算水平。

剩餘價值觀察期

牛熊證被強制收回後,其剩餘價值觀察期將會設於下一個交易時段結束,如該牛熊證在上午被收回,其觀察期會截止該日下午收市。若該牛熊證在下午被收回,其觀察期會在翌日中午休市時段為止。
